Coming from their post-hardcore experience with Fugazi, Joe Lally and Brendan Canty—the
rhythm section of the legendary Washington D.C. quartet, have joined forces with guitarist
Anthony Pirog and saxophonist James Brandon Lewis, to create an innovative project that

moves between post-bop, fusion, acid jazz, and avant-garde rock. It’s music stripped of frills
and ornamentation, driven by constant tension, capable of pulling the listener into a
high-voltage melodic vortex.
